My first experience with typology was in College. I took the Myers-Briggs test at the Career Center. This was 6 years ago.

When got the results I cried. On one hand it explained a lot of my tendencies and challenges. On the other hand...It really highlighted why my family found me to be so difficult. They are all extreme introverted thinkers. I was a fireball of emotion and action rattling around in their china closets.

Now, 6 years, 2 major relationships, and a Bachelors in Religious studies later I am finally living on my own. It has been lonely. I am used to living in group houses, cooking for others people, and being the "Den Mother" (as my friends affectionately call me)

This distancing from intimate quarters and relationships has provided a playing field full of questions I did not previously have room to ask myself. About a week about I became compelled to look through my trunks of paperwork from College, and there were my results from the Career Center.

I reread the little bits of info the Center had sent me home with. Then I researched the hell out of it on the internet. *smile*

Over the last few days, many of my questions have been answered, and strategies with my challenges have been put into play. A sense of subtle control has eased my over worrying nature. I feel more centered, and able to make better decisions not that I better understand what I am working with.

So, here I am *smile* I am looking to learn a lot from the discussions presented in this forum. Feed back is always welcome, and you know you can always rely on my type for advice *wink, grin*
