There is little consensus amongst mbti enthusiasts regarding the inferior function and its place.
It seems that one should consciously integrate it. Many professionals agree.
For the ENTJ this means cultivating a sense of personal values, sticking to them, and feeling something for it.
Most ENTJ's never reach this culmination of moral or ethical conduct because they are stuck thinking they are objective. THE ENTJ IS NOT OBJECTIVE. ALL HUMANS ARE SUBJECTIVE, but we can use objective data to make conclusions. Still, even so, we are subjective.
When the ENTJ realizes this they will spend less time arguing in real life or on message boards and more time simply enjoying the present moment - hence the development of extroverted sensing can begin.
