Since Biden (and ever other president before him for that matter) has continue to coddle, arm and enrich Israel (not to mention allowing this unstable country to have nukes), this is what the end result was always going to be- the US dragged into yet another conflict they could have stopped before it ever got this far.

Yes, but this time this could different than your average war. The middle east as whole, Ukraine, Venezuela/Cuba, multiple places in Africa, India/China border, Myanmar, Taiwan ....... we really have enough elements to have genuine WW3. Especially since all of these are already west vs. east wars and games. As a matter of fact it can argued that we are already in some sort of slow motion WW3.

On the other hand thinking that US is the only one that makes moves is very simplistic view of the situation. Since at least about a dozen of regional powers are making their moves and alliances. Because they all have their own interest and desires.

Germany — National parliament voting intention

The fact that center right is first and far right second isn't real news. However there is new element in the story: newly founded anti-woke socially conservative left (BSW). That is friendly to Russia and which currently is only 2 percent away from the greens. So with current trends it will probably surpass them in incoming days/weeks.

Greens 10%
BSW 9%

With current momentum the surpassing is almost here. However once it happens it is possible that it will only speed up the trend. Since that is likely to remove the stigma to certain degree.

I don't think I ever said the US was the only one making moves. Israel, like it or not, lives and dies because of the US.

You didn't say it but I am just adding that the global "ecosystem" is much wider and much more diverse than most people consider it to be. What means that this is just one more strong bond in the landscape (and thus it even isn't all that special). Taiwan also exists only because of US, pretty much the same can be said about modern day Ukraine. On the other hand Belarus as it is wouldn't exist without Russia. You can argue the same about Cuba or Venezuela. North Korea wouldn't exist without China. French Guyana wouldn't exist without France .... etc. It is just that this level of focus on Israel never really made too much sense to me in wider context. Especially since there are plenty of similar cases out there (while violence or territorial claims aren't out of the picture in those cases either). While around Africa much more people are dying in wars and related problems but for some reason that just isn't interesting to media.

In my part of the world we are simply to preoccupied with mess in Ukraine to get seriously worked up about this topic.

German coalition’s budget fight is back

This is basically why I said that there should be protest against FDP. Since this is were the real problem and instability are. Far right and other populists are basically nothing more than a symptom of FDPs neoliberalism and desire of having economic instability for average Joe. When country is basically in a war and in various trade wars you can't be fiscal turbo hawk and get stuff done. Some people on the streets should tell them that openly, maybe they will get the message.
