Again, it was completely arbitrary on the test algorithm's part. Your score for Fe and Te was identical.

EDIT: It may have, hilariously enough, actually scored you INTJ because you're more feeling than thinking. Your Te and Fe were identical, but your Fi (INTJ tertiary) was much higher than your Ti (INFJ tert).

Come to think of it, I do tend to be more feeling than thinking. I notice from my own behavior, I tend to express concern for society, or people that mean a lot to me. Even as a science nerd, my view of science is geared towards benefiting society as a whole, make life more enriching by knowing how things in nature operate via scientific theory. It's almost like being "in love" with what science could do for people, and looking up to people that have pioneered theories in the science world. It's like saying "Hey, this can make your life better!"

Definitely an INFJ perspective, if you ask me.

I don't think so necessarily. Everyone might have that in themselves, but to be led by it is a different thing entirely. This is probably what creates seemingly flighty, impulsive, and stubborn FPs. Not to mention occassional unemployment. A person with a preference for thinking could override their sense personal "freedom" and/or values without even noticing much probably..and then maybe make the same choice if it's reasonable to them. And a high Fe would act in reference to others more often.

Not necessarily. Many people wouldn't freely enjoy doing what they want for their own personal happiness, or else simply not be too aware of what makes them happy.

I suppose it's hard for me to grasp NOT being that way .

I think she got INFP because the test is bugging out. I got INFP the first time around, despite having explicitly scored higher in Ne than Fi.

I don't think the test was bugging out, but presently, I'm going through some things, which has cause me to look inward. after thinking for a while I realize that's the reason why my fi is higher than my Ne. I'm every bit an enfp.

Not bad. I used to get ENFP, INFP mainly when I did it the last times.... but maybe I spent more time considering the questions, or just interpreted them differently, which increased my Fi and Ne and increased my Fe and Ni......

dude... don't make me explain this to you A... after all, I'm a dumb (and buzzed) Sensor

You never have a dominant or auxillary Si in any P type, just as you never have a dominant or auxilary Ni in any P... the introverted perceiving functions are associated with judging just as the extroverted perceiving functions are a hallmark of a P type.... generally speaking, according to some theories, it's easier to develop some of our shadow functions than it is to develop our tertiary or inferior functions (note my extra special Ne and Te, for example... )

Therefore, that someone wouldn't have as well developed of a tertiary or inferior as they would some of their shadow functions isn't all so shocking

Tougher life experiences that cause a person to function in their shadow more often, for instance, could assist in the development of one's shadow functions, for instance, as they wouldn't do for the tertiary or inferior

In otherwords, it would be almost more accurate, theoretically, for some to develop more in the order of 12567834 or so instead of the traditional linear manner or so...

or you could look up some of wildcats old threads on type theory puzzles for fun... that's always a fun Ne exercize... if you're up for the challenge
