I have counted in that as well.
Ability to suck in the data and being educated are two different things in my opinion. (in my book)

Well, I will say I am much more likely to read into things and dig deeper (due to Ni) and they tend to accept things more at face value. I actually enjoy that because it calms down my anxiety knowing that they don't read subtext into anything and everything that I ever do which some Ns are wont to do...it feels stable. However, whenever they are trying to manipulate me, I can see right through it because things seem/feel "off"... not that I am smarter or anything like that.

Random aside, INTJs tend to be my kryptonite when it comes to reading/gauging people. Haha Si seems very straightforward and linear once you get to know the person but Ni just seems much more subjective and open to interpretation based on the user, combine that with aux Te, it confounds me.

I don't know many SJs or talk to a lot people about their political beliefs. My ESxJ dad is quite liberal, as is my ISFJ mother.

My ESTJ brother has absorbed the very leftist viewpoints. Partly because of the relatives, profession (unions, politics) and colleagues. His Fi is lurking there. Good luck with trying to convert him. Hank Hill being born in leftist environment = leftist Hank Hill... It is quite simple.

You need to understand that there is very conservative leftism. Not in the USA but you can find them in Europe for example. Conservatism is totally compatible with social democrat ideology or even with communism.

They're mostly in the Obama middle.

My father and I are both socialists.

I fail to see how leftist thought is incompatible with Si-Je cognition, especially since leftist philosophy is often a product of materialist and sociological analysis.*

*I don't consider libertarianism, unless they're anarchists, leftist.

Ayyy
I've seen PLENTY of SJs on the left, maybe not radically, but it depends on how the SJ was raised and where.

Although most of the SJs I know focus mainly on the social and political aspects rather than economical.

Yo. Somewhat liberal ESFJ here (I cherry pick my political stances). And I was raised conservative, too. ;)
