How can adversity and conflict help facilitate growth?
Quote:
"In the depth of winter, I finally learned that there was within me an invincible summer." Albert Camus
"It is times of adversity that test character. It is a pivotal time where one walks their talk and not merely give lip service and hide behind spirituality, religion and self righteous proclaimed moral superiority.
How another act reflect their spiritual development. How one reacts is a true test of character, moral fortitude and spiritual integrity. We grow with challenges. They test our moral character and emotional plus spiritual maturity. This is provided we endeavor to act with a mixture of Agape compassion and human reason.
On this spiritual path we take the high road in difficulties. We do not give in to base emotions while being triggered and expend negative energy nor do we repay a negative with yet more negativity of our own. For we hold ourselves accountable on a path of spiritual healing and growth. The alternative is to take the lesser road and give in to our emotions and act without the restraint of reason. We do not learn valuable lessons about ourselves, others and reality but are doomed to continue to being triggered and acting out in an ineffective manner. The lesser road leads to stagnation and lack of both growth and character.
Remain true to self and the path you walk irregardless and as well in spite of how the other acts. If a person on the path is very dissimilar, then we don't fight them, and try to change and mold or clone them into a carbon replica of ourselves, nor force them unto our journey. We are all unique individuals. If possible, we let them go on their way. They must learn life experiences. We let them go on their way and predestined chosen path. We must concentrate and remain true to our path and learn the lessons of life to be imparted to us."
We will meet others of similar mind sent to inspire us, as well as perceived adversaries that only make us stronger. Be positive yet realistic, the eternal optimist. Be true to yourself and your own special higher calling.â€
