Individuals with an undifferentiated mindset exhibit elements of both the abundance and scarcity mindset, depending on the situation. As they are halfway between the two extremes, they see resources as partially abundant and partially scarce, depending on the situation. In some cases, these people are liable to believe that there are enough resources and successes for everyone, while at other times they will also be likely to believe that no matter how hard they try, there is always a lack of something(usually time or money) in their lives, and there will never be enough for everyone.

Scarcity Mindset: People with a scarcity mindset are liable to believe that no matter how hard they try, there will always be a lack of something (usually time or money) in their lives and that there is not enough for everyone. Since they are susceptible to focusing on what they do not have, these people are at risk of developing tunnel vision and becoming preoccupied with their unmet needs. Hence, their vulnerability to a scarcity mindset limits their ability to feel content, inspire others, or reason logically about the benefits of future projects and plans. Consequently, it is easy for such people to fall prey to a victim mentality and resign themselves to passivity while simply waiting for things to happen to them. Likewise, these people may have to struggle with negative thoughts and beliefs that they can’t help but present to themselves, thus reinforcing the mindset that there are limited opportunities and relationships in life. Since the harsh scarcity mindset comes easily to them, these people are at risk of becoming resentful of others’ triumphs and hesitant to learn and grow themselves.

It's called keeping your head down or self preservation.

Strong Abundance Mindset: People with a high abundance mindset strongly believe that there are enough resources and successes for everyone. Since they recognize the power of the thoughts and language we present to ourselves every day, they choose to live life to the fullest, in accordance with a generous, creative, inspirational, and happy attitude. Such people optimistically grab opportunities and take full advantage of them just as, when looking back, they bask in their positively notable memories and the times when they experienced mastery over the projects they undertook. Hence, these people focus on gratitude, their unique strengths, their purpose, and their passions in life. They are curious about other people and their experiences; they typically think that one always has a choice, no matter how bad things get in life. Furthermore, they also strive to have a nonjudgmental mind and generally feel empowered — manifesting kindness and serenity while energizing the people around them. Indeed, they make an effort to get everyone excited about future growth and challenges. For these people, the sky is truly the limit.

Putting a number on it seems pretentious. Only the most precarious of circumstances contribute to revealing what weaknesses lie underneath. There's always room for improvement and growth.

"People with a scarcity mindset are liable to believe that no matter how hard they try, there will always be a lack of something (usually time or money) in their lives and that there is not enough for everyone."
Yes that is true. Everyone can't own 1000 acres and live in five mansions like some people . . .

"Hence, their vulnerability to a scarcity mindset limits their ability to feel content, inspire others, or reason logically about the benefits of future projects and plans."
False. Personality determines mindset AND ability to do those other things.

I like that the description is always using words like attempt, make an effort (because it'st not what I do reflexively), want to (overcome pessimism and perfectionism), try to remind onself (because otherwise I forget), and strive.
