The notion of giving the US Constitution a complete overhaul has come up in another thread, and in the public discourse. If the present document were to be scrapped and a new one written, what would you like to see in it? What should be retained from the current Constitution, what should be dropped, what should be added? What problems stem from how our present Constitution is written, and how would you fix them in a replacement?

President has to be elected by national popular vote. He is truly a federal figure and therefore he has to elected in such fashion.
Especially since that means that every single house across the country will be in play in that case. Therefore the president will have to care about all citizens and all parts of the country. What will increase both turnout and representation quality.
