It was 6 months ago today that Andy died in my arms... totally suddenly and unexpectedly. It took about 6 weeks for the "deer-in-the-headlights" feeling to wear off... and physically, it has taken all 6 months for my body to heal from the effects of the shock... I'm almost better, I think.
Emotionally, I am doing better, too. I don't burst into tears EVERY time I think of him and the wonderful love that we shared. It's hard to say good-bye to such an unselfish and faithful man. He was the man of my dreams... and I was good for him, too.
