How much easier would college be if you were aroused by abstract data.
Not much, really, because most data is presented in a non-symmetrical format and you have to construct a theoretical paradigm to fit it neatly into, iron out all the kinks, and rework that structure
every single time you happen upon another bit of information. It's like constantly translating into another language and back in your head. Maybe it's more interesting but it's also more time-consuming and your framework isn't always right because it sacrifices accuracy for the sake of symmetry.
Based on my ISTP brother, Se perks:
- Being natively in tune with the atmosphere / environment
- Having exceptionally good balance, both mentally and physically
- Being able to fluidly transition from one state to the next
- Being able to understand, capture, enjoy, and reproduce purity of sensation without conceptual trappings
- Excelling at improvisation in almost any area
- Living in the here-and-now

This is the impression I had, of Se. Seems to be the most pretense-free, of all the functions.
Seconded.
