Can the relativity of time be used to explain why 1 minute feels like an eternity when running but a flash when walking?
Would you say this is correct:
I feel as if there is something wrong in what I have written above. If anyone can enlighten me with an ELI5 explanation, it would be great.
Would you say this is correct:
The speed of light is constant, relative to the observer. As light cannot travel more than 180,000 miles per second, it needs more time to cover a greater distance within a given space. Therefore, the object in the space where light has to travel a greater distance will appear to experience time more slowly, as compared to the object in the space where light has to travel a shorter distance, even though to both objects, they experience time flowing normally.
