This is an extension of MBTI+, in which the personality temperaments of arts, objects, clothes, and even sounds and languages have personality temperaments that can be identified. These temperaments mean the people, objects, and arts (architecture, painting styles, music, etc.) have different purposes, and are suited for specific environments. The different temperaments also means that in the world of design, everyone is right, just that different people appreciate different aesthetics according to his tastes. These tastes are not "unique", but are extended to like people (depending on his temperament).
There are two systems when dealing with temperaments in the physical and material. One system deals with expansive or contractive energy (with themes of Inspiration, Love, and Joy), while the other deals with the environment, with the themes of (People, Banking, and Law). Specifically, this extension is derived from the Career-Temperament Types, in which three main temperaments are at work. However, these temperaments can be extended to the environment, to material objects like clothing, and sounds, like music and language, not just people.
For the Energy-temperaments, expansive energy feels like the energy at the center is going outwards or upwards. Contractive energy feels like the energy at the center is going inwards or downwards. Inspiration-primary has expansive energy, with Inspiration-primary Joy-secondary possessing elements of both Inspiration-primary Love-secondary, and Love-primary Joy-secondary. Similarly, Joy-primary has contractive energy, with Joy-primary Inspiration-secondary possessing elements of both Joy-primary Love-secondary and Love-primary Inspiration-secondary. This ties with the Career-temperaments, where Inspiration is Project-oriented, Love is Service-oriented, while Joy is Discovery-oriented, but in this case, it describes objects instead of people. Love-primary can be either contractive or expansive, depending on the secondary, with Joy-secondary being expansive, while Inspiration-secondary being contractive.
Expansive energy has elements of analysis, planning and thinking (after having sufficient information), while Contractive energy is about gathering, testing, and organizing information (after having the tools to do so). Inspiration-primary and Joy-secondary is associated with the Neutral Social Communists (Project-oriented primary Discovery-oriented secondary), while the Joy-primary Inspiration-secondary is associated with the Neutral Capital Communists (Discovery-oriented primary and Project-oriented secondary). Reptilian designs have elements of both contractive and expansive energies, with the ultimate design being neither expansive nor contractive (in the case of Energy-based beings, their designs are usually without much texture, unlike the Emotions-based beings, whose designs have texture and feel to them). The material used can either be absorptive or reflective.
For the environmental temperaments, there are the elements of People, Bank, and Law. For the People element, people who possess this as their primary attribute require freedom to explore their own interests, as well as freedom of interaction with other people, through free play; this attribute promotes community and common being. For the Bank element, people who possess it as their primary attribute require personal goals and self planning; without goals and personal planning, they might feel lost. For the Law element, people who possess it as their primary attribute require an environment that has discipline and structure, and is specific about what is right; they enjoy strict supervision, and prefer a more structured environment, by following a schedule or plan.
Different primary elements and their secondary attributes are suited for different purposes, and for different tasks. Below is a summary of the attributes:
People-primary Bank-secondary: Broadcasters and television hosts, leaders, home and restaurant designers
People-primary Law-secondary: Corporate and bureaucratic employees, managers, corporate or bureaucratic buildings and offices
