I'm usually fairly good when it comes to typing people. But I am completely at a loss with my current boyfriend. Total loss. I don't know where to begin. I will make sure to list anything I might think is relevent.
First of all, he is younger than by about nine years. He will be 23 this month. (I don't know if this part is relevent or not.)
After high school graduation, he left his family to spend two weeks with a girl he knew from online. He ended up staying there, which broke his family's heart. He and the girl got married a few months later, and two years later they had a child. Apparently he tolerated too much from her before he finally left. He basically put up with a lot before finally breaking.
He is extremely relationship oriented. This is the first guy who I ever met who has been COMPLETELY about me. He always wants to hang out, he puts me first. He is romantic. (Reserved a planetarium for us.) For a little bit, I thought he might be an ENFP like me. But I read him a description, and he said it sounded a lot like me. (Not like him.)
From what I gather, he is the type to rather have a girlfriend than a bunch of friends. He has a fiew, and everyone seems to like him.
He is interested in the health field. Primarily being an x-ray tech. He has some knowledge and interest in cars too. Very S-like things, I think. At one time, he was in school for being an elementary school teacher. He told me he didn't know what he was thinking there.
We get along great. He is very agreeable and laid back. He is fine and completely happy doing anything. So he is all about doing my crazy, spontaneous stuff. He loves hearing me ramble about school and other academic things. However, he doesn't talk much about it himself. Also, it takes him a bit to warm up to new people quickly. He is a bit shy at first.
He enjoys going out, but he doesn't have the need or desire to party much at 23. Maybe once every two weeks he might want to go to a bar. He is happiest spending time with me watching movies and just cooking dinner together at home. He actually helps me clean. (Which I think has occured because I totally praised him when he did it once.) Because he is messy by nature. His bedroom is a total wreck. His finances are a wreck. But he always pays his child support, and he is a great dad despite the fact that he only gets his son every other weekend. He made him a cute Easter basket, he takes him to do things, goes to the park with him.
The only time we have any strain on our relationship is when I get annoyed with him. It only occurs because he is around me so much, so he is bound to see my irritability from time to time. To be quite honest, I'm not used to someone so nice. Or a relationship that comes so easy. So it kind of scares me a little. I do admit though, he lacks in the confidence area.
There is probably something I'm forgetting...but let me know what you think.
