Awww Ramsey cried.
And then he said feed her dead body to the dogs. Holy shit that man is unpredictable.
He and his father are just unique.
Booya.
I feel like this season, they've gotten pretty bloodthirsty. But overall the episode moved right along.
Big episode spoilers, you have been warned:
- I loved the opening with Bran and von Sydow, we finally got to see Lyanna. It looks like next week we might get to see what happened at the tower.
- Goodbye Lord Greyjoy and Roose Bolton. And momma Bolton. And Baby Bolton. Gee, and I thought he just might toss the baby in a well; no, the dogs must be fed! Again! They eat better than the rest of the keep.
- So much for the Night's Watch insurrection. Thorne wasn't happy. I bet he'll be even less happy next week. Him and Ollie are gonna be hurting.
- Tyrion. WTF. I was afraid we'd find out he was Dragonborn when they breathed on him. I loved the look on Varys' face afterwards. This might be a good excuse for Tyrion to stop drinking, who knows what stupidity he'll get himself into next time?
- A lot of great quiet dramatic moments tonight -- Cersei with Tommen, Jaime with The Sparrow, Sansa and Theon, Davos with Melisandre. I'm glad they are giving the characters some space to slowly fill, versus rushing them about. It's the pause before the storm.
- It's hard to tell whether the Red Woman pulled off what happened -- it was beautiful regardless, the way they built the tension, and her acceptance lately of her own limitations, but then everyone filtering away. So the hair was a sneaky ruse. Heh.
- Welcome back, Jon Stark-Targaryan. I suspect based on the clues that Jon was hiding inside Ghost the whole time, and the Red Woman might have opened a channel at best... or possibly just healed the internal damage so the body was usable again.
- Stark vs Bolton Smackdown, sometime this season @ Castle Black.
"Next time I have an idea like that, punch me in the face." I love these two, more for their expressions and body language than what is actually said.
It's so predictable. Martin has lost his touch.
It's got nothing to do with him at this point.
The constant online talk prevents there from being something new....if there is any plausible idea about something, it gets talked to death.
You kinda have to live under a rock to not hear about everything.
