I prefer tigers; I think they're more beautiful, scarier, and they like to swim.
The magnificent lion manes people think of when they think of a lion... those guys barely even hunt. Most of that is done by the females. You used to be able to find lions in Greece,
which is why the Greeks had stories about them.

I liked the Barbary Lions too when they existed.

I think it would have been awesome to live in the times of Aurauchs and Nemon Lions.

I think it would be more warm than cool personally.

But I agree. I also would enjoy some Terror Birds and Rocs. Pretty much if Sinbad encountered it, I want it to be real currently. I think humans have forgotten their place in the ecosystem of both ecology and mythology. This would fix that.
