I honestly don't ever remember hearing it in the 90s. I don't remember Reagan at all. I remember Poppy a little bit.

I was in first grade in 1989, my choir teacher really liked this song and played it on repeat during class.

Lee Greenwood is the only one of those songs I can't stand. I don't have anything against traditional patriotic melodies but I can't help but associate that song with freedom fries and various other kinds of Dubya-era idiocy because that was the first time I started hearing it. It's the musical equivalent of those dumb facebook posts some of my relatives make about the flag and how omigod I hope Facebook doesn't take this down. (Actually, in general, I like my holiday music traditional. It doesn't need "updating"; that's not the point and ultimately it always end up sounding not cutting edge but hokey and instantly dated because the point of a holiday isn't to be cutting edge.

This is one of the two songs I most dislike, ever. We were force-fed it for weeks at military training, which exacerbated my initial dislike of it. Nevermind hokey and dated, it is twisted in a way reminiscent of the Soviet-era Russian patriotic music I have listened to - and I have listened to quite a bit. It is also careless.

Men aren't the only ones who died, and our own founding documents consider liberty to be one of the unnalienable rights given by our creator, i.e. God. Yes, words have meaning. Sloppy wording muddies some rather important content here, perhaps revealing some confusion or wishful thinking.

The hypothesis of this test is starting to seem really dubious to me. If these were valid categories, shouldn't we be seeing individuals in high scores in only one category? Instead everyone is getting high scores in at least two categories, sometimes more.

The categories aren't mutually exclusive, so I don't see the problem.
The bigger problem are the actual questions: that are either stereotypical, off the point, anti-intellectual or unclear.
