I have a legitimate question and I am just gonna tag ceecee because she usually has an answer. XD

I do see a lot of discussions about blacks not being respect wearing their natural hair. I am curious why employers or people care? Is there a long standing history? I've always found the natural curls and such they have to be quite beautiful. But I couldn't imagine how I'd feel if someone told me I had to do THEIR hair every day, because my straight ass hair doesn't do crap so curling it is a pain. I imagine for them straightening it all the time would be and possibly idk kill it... But it seems to be if a black man or woman wears a fro, or braids, or etc. I don't see why it matters to the company so as long as they are hygienic as usual.

Something like this is a good place to start.

Ian Miles Cheong (aka: right-wing troll living in Malaysia) was suspended by Twitter for a tweet that supported law enforcement using force to handle rioters in Portland, Ore. Charming.

Arent you glad you moved to the left, and can now defend rioters, looters, sex offenders, domestic abusers, arsonists, and over educated self entitled white people- while attacking police officers, the rule of law, and random nerds from Malaysia?

:rofl1:

See what I mean? You post information from Malaysian trolls and rather than correct the problem, you resort to behaving like a troll and post lies about forum members. Is this really the best you can do?

Police shoot knife-wielding man in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

If attempting to run from someone chasing you with a knife before having to turn and defend yourself isn't enough to avoid rioting we are in trouble.

What The Lancaster, Pennsylvania Protests Might Mean For The Biden Campaign

Can't wait to see how leftists spin this one. My guess would be the standard pretend it never happened, since I'm not sure how spinning it would be possible, but necessity as they say is the mother of invention so we will see.

Ignorant Seth Cohen said:
undoubtedly voters in the Keystone State and across the country will be closely watching how Biden responds to the incident, and whether he defends the police and condemns the violent protestors

They already know his position and it is aired on TV and online via YouTube nearly every day:

Suspect charged after man struck by SUV at Tennessee Black Lives Matter rally | TheHill

The male victim said a group of protesters was crossing State of Franklin Road when some drivers honked their horns and one driver “flicked-off” the demonstrators, according to court documents obtained by the newspaper. He said the driver of the white SUV honked, moved forward at about two miles per hour and bumped him before accelerating and running over his legs.

From NYT's Chris Rock Tried To Warn Us:

You’ve been telling audiences for years that racism isn’t going away and remains a potent force in America. Do you feel like you’ve seen circumstances improve at all?

It’s real. It’s not going away. I said this before, but Obama becoming the president, it’s progress for white people. It’s not progress for Black people. It’s the Jackie Robinson thing. It’s written like he broke a barrier, as if there weren’t Black people that could play before him. And that’s how white people have learned about racism. They think, when these people work hard enough, they’ll be like Jackie. And the real narrative should be that these people, the Black people, are being abused by a group of people that are mentally handicapped. And we’re trying to get them past their mental handicaps to see that all people are equal.

Humanity isn’t progress — it’s only progress for the person that’s taking your humanity. If a woman’s in an abusive relationship and her husband stops beating her, you wouldn’t say she’s made progress, right? But that’s what we do with Black people. We’re constantly told that we’re making progress. The relationship we’re in — the arranged marriage that we’re in — it’s that we’re getting beat less.

It's so true. All of this progress is for white people - to make them less uncomfortable and more inclined to ignore reality. Why else would so many of them argue the reality so vehemently? So they can remain in their clean make believe world of neoliberal "progress", far from any reality or unpleasantness.

At least the right wing conservatives are more honest about not giving a shit about anything or anyone but themselves.

Gov. DeSantis unveils new bill to crack down on riots, penalize cities for '''defunding police'''

Under the bill, called the Combating Violence, Disorder, and Looting and Law Enforcement Protection Act, it'd be a third degree felony when seven or more people are in "an assembly and cause damage to property or injury."

The same penalty also applies to anyone who is obstructing traffic during unpermited protest. The bill states that any driver who hits a person who is obstructing traffic during a "disorderly assembly" will not be liable for injury or death "if fleeing from the safety of a mob."

About time. If we could just get this adopted in every state, I'd say the riots might have been worth something.

The irony is that this law can also be fairy well applied to pro Trump groups or militias as well due to their behavior. So if they really pass this law about trivializing "car accidents" this can go either way in theory. Especially in the cases where both sides are fighting each other on the street. Or you just trigger some protesting Trump supporters, lure them on the middle of the street and then your friend slams a car into them. I mean the ways how this can potentially be gamed are almost endless if the law will be simplistic. So as you already realized this is the path that is probably best to skip.

Exactly. But MAGA and crypto MAGA never think this could be turned on them. Say buh bye to the 1st Amendment, likely the 2nd Amendment or at least watch it be gutted, the 4th Amendment is already history, at least for poor white, black and brown people.... but "Antifa bad".
