Perhaps but that wasn't really my point. My point is that all of this is god given for presenting US as failed state that lost track of reality. What can easily lead into geopolitical tectonic shifts. (as I already explained)
We are going to get a bipartisan supported police reform bill out of this and that will be that. The overwhelming majority of Americans living and enjoying their lives are not represented by the clowns you see on the news. I don't know why you are so desperate to paint the US as a failed state. You were wrong about Covid being the nail in our coffin and you're wrong about the current civil unrest being it too. Just because there's a civil war going on between the stupidest extremes of both political ends right now (all you will ever see from the media) doesn't mean the center is gong to come unmoored.

Why would chokeholds not already be outlawed everywhere? Why would any state or department allow it? Besides it being an obvious dumb decision to ever choke someone, you don't know that person's medical history either. For one example, what if someone has asthma & goes into anaphylaxis? See this is what we need guys. Actual plausible solutions that at least 99% of us could get behind. BAN CHOKEHOLDS EVERYWHERE.

Ask the police union heads that pay for this guy to come train their police.

watch

Free of charge if there is some pesky liberal mayor or governor trying to ban shit like this.

Remember Philando Castile? His killer had "warrior training", also by Dave Grossman.

Philando Castile shooting: "Warrior" training debated

In a suburb of St. Paul.

The police and their unions and legislative backers fight to keep all of these and the tactics alive and well.

Human rights are not political, these clowns and their supporters politicize it to create apathy in voters and juries. Insurance pays these huge awards for wrongful death, passed on to tax payers, rinse and repeat.

3. Unconcious bias is not real. How can I have racist thoughts that I don't even know I'm having? I know my own thoughts & they are conscious. I in no way ever act racist towards other people. I do not subscribe to being a mind reader of anyone else, & actions matter more than thoughts that people do not act on anyway.

Unconscious bias is unconscious, so they wouldn't be thoughts you're aware of.

Unconscious biases are social stereotypes about certain groups of people that individuals form outside their own conscious awareness. Everyone holds unconscious beliefs about various social and identity groups, and these biases stem from one’s tendency to organize social worlds by categorizing.

Unconscious bias is far more prevalent than conscious prejudice and often incompatible with one’s conscious values. Certain scenarios can activate unconscious attitudes and beliefs. For example, biases may be more prevalent when multi-tasking or working under time pressure.

Because you never look wider picture.
The current situation for me is fail and fail is subjective term. You seem to have over a million registered cases in the country, while I have them 11. Even if we both started with patient zero at the airport/border. So I am sorry I am biased, for me this is a fail until this point in time. You still seem to be adding about 20 000 new cases daily and when that stops I will change my position on Covid (what I said before and I will keep my word if I see the long term changes in the trend). Your media have shifted the perspective but the problem isn't really solved. This is still ongoing battle which you don't even seem to be willing to fight too much, as you say people are enjoying their lives. If this is really the case your media really deserve pure F on the issue.

To put my cards on the table my local media reports on US right now look as US reports on Iraq or Venezuela. This is exactly why I am saying the image damage is serious, what is really the truth isn't really that much part of the argument. However if there is image damage people start to search for alternatives and the Russia/China are offering themselves all over the place as new friends.

Also take a look at this, since it is fresh.

China is not a military threat, EU top diplomat says

EU is uncertain about what to do in current situation but if the block decides to side more with Russia and China the USA as it is will be automatically over. Since it will be at serious economic and population disadvantage because this will no longer will be 2:2 but 3:1. 300 million Americans vs. over 2000+ million Euroasians. While the rest of the world is fairly dependent on China for medical supplies in this pandemic or has deep ties with China from even before this mass started. You are constantly wondering why I am so negative and the situation in almost a checkmate in global picture. The fact that Trump is currently threatening with some retreating of troops from Europe is not helping either. Imagine what will be if someone says "just leave already", what EU said to UK. However in this new world order the Dollar surely will not play dominant role and your production will still remain in China for the most part (while you get to keep you tens of trillions in debts). I am sorry but you just don't seem to realize where we are in this "game". Although this is probably something that your media or politicians don't want to show the people because it is "too much". It is enough that Europe simply decides to be neutral for the most part and that will seriously shift power. However if you don't have pandemic under control you basically fail automatically since you get economically choked in your own home and even the military can't work properly.

When I took it without distractions (because I first tried to take it 2 different times while watching a TV show & rapid fire picking my choices which was a dumb idea lol) I got no preference. 1st time I got moderate preference for European. 2nd time I got slight preference for African American. 3nd time was no preference.

So not seeing a correlation there of me having a racial preference?

What's wrong with arrogant? :D

Gee I don't know. Why would it be important to be able to step back and question and look at whether one is infallible? Gracefully admit mistakes and try to do better? No one is perfect. Though I guess if you prefer arrogance, we have the perfect president for that.

I see you don't get sarcasm. lol

But Trump's personality doesn't actually bother me. I find him quite entertaining, honestly.

People get so serious so quickly. Wow. Humor just seems to go right over people's heads way too often.

No, I'm not arrogant. Arrogant would imply that I look down on others, & I try my best to never do that.

I do try to maintain high confidence though. I think I do a pretty good job of it, unless I'm unusually stressed.

I do in fact get sarcasm.
I see you don't care to take serious issues seriously.
If you think the bigoted, racist, sexist, deluded, arrogant, ignorant, pompous, dangerous, callous, obnoxious, cowardly president is merely entertaining, you aren't taking any of it seriously. And there's no point in talking to you.

You're posting in a thread about someone being murdered. I'm not going to apologize for taking that seriously. It's about the most serious thing there is.

Ooooh I see you're the type that doesn't talk to people who disagree with your beliefs/point of view. Cool.

I'm actually really into politics, so you are wrong that I don't take politics seriously. I consider myself a right leaning libertarian who's in favor of very small government, & I spend a lot of time doing research on political things that I find interesting.

I don't see Trump that way, but ok. I also don't agree with quite a few of his stances of things, so it's not like I'm above criticizing him either though.

Maybe you should try to gather new information from people with different views than your own rather then just being like "you don't 100% agree with me in every way, so I just won't talk to you".

But I in no way insulted George Floyd or black people. I made a joke about myself, because you insinuated that I &/or my way of thinking was arrogant.
