Hello,
whether you believe, follow a different religion, or just don't, I ask you to consider partaking in a request from Pope Francis.
In the early days, it is believed that the plague stopped in Italy once the Italians turned back to God, and prayed for relief. their prayer was so loud, God showed mercy and the plague was gone. Pope Francis feels if God hears enough of us turning to Him, He will end this plague.
Certainly, it cannot hurt to try something.
If you wish to partake, he is asking the entire world to pray at midday. So whatever is midday where you are, March 25th, pray an Our Father.
here is the prayer for those of you who may not know:
Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Thank you to anyone and everyone who joins us.
and may God hear us.
