Not quite a logic puzzle, but the four 4's challenge.
Challenge: Using four 4's and any operations, try to write equations that have the numbers from 0 to 100 as the answer.
Example start point.
((4*4)/4)-4=0
Are you saying that the answers have to include all natural numbers from 0 - 100.
Okay 1 is mine
(4+4)*(4+4)/(4*4*4)=1
Nope you can only use four 4s, no more.
Please make a new thread.
Alright, maybe we get a mod to split it?
? = fec
Okay I got a really mad idea about how to solve this and I needed to check one thing online.
It would behbc
Now I'm going to sleep.

Hi Mal12345,
I've got a solution for this enigma.
But I don't understand yours. Could you say me how to find your solution ?
I agree to say to you mine.
Best regards.
DD
It's been almost 2 years and I've forgotten my solution path.
Here's a 1 question IQ test for the geniuses in the forum:
Hi Kas,
How do you find that ? I've got a better solution of that...
DD
Do you remember if you have used the position of prime numbers to solve it ?
Can you explain (best in spoiler tag)?
It was a long time ago and I don't remember exactly what I was thinking but..:
For sure I assumed that I can find more of a pattern seeing numbers, so I translated letters into numbers where a-1, 2-b etc getting the sequence:
2,3,13,5,7,149,11,13,?
All of the numbers are prime numbers and obviously there is a pattern. Bolded numbers are the list of the prime numbers starting from the beginning.
For us though it's the numbers which are not-bolded that are interesting, because it's the sequence with the question mark:
13,149,?; where I'm sure all of the numbers are prime numbers
Until there I don't remember what was my idea. I think a couple of possibilities are possible. Most obvious today would be for me:
13 (as 6th prime number), 149 (as 35th prime number /+29), ?-311 (as 64th prime number /+29)
which translating into letters would be "caa"
but I suppose I had other idea then
