Not quite a logic puzzle, but the four 4's challenge.

Challenge: Using four 4's and any operations, try to write equations that have the numbers from 0 to 100 as the answer.

Example start point.

((4*4)/4)-4=0

Are you saying that the answers have to include all natural numbers from 0 - 100.

Each individual answer is to get to the point of a single integer between 0 and 100. Answers have no relation to any other, independant.

You could time yourself as well, my brother and I did it where we competed to see who could do more, in order, in a half an hour. Exponents, factorials, anything can be used- but exclusively four 4's. No numbers besides and exactly four must be used. I would post internet directions, but many of them include answers or hints to them.

No mod was willing to split this thread. But they are right on their balls to delete my poetry.

So here's another puzzle:

Hi Mal12345,

I've got a solution for this enigma.
But I don't understand yours. Could you say me how to find your solution ?
I agree to say to you mine.

Best regards.

DD

It's been almost 2 years and I've forgotten my solution path.

Can you explain (best in spoiler tag)?

It was a long time ago and I don't remember exactly what I was thinking but..:

Do you remember if you have used the position of prime numbers to solve it ?

It would be impossible to solve without using the position of prime numbers to solve it.

OK, i give you my solution :

2*3 =6 -> the 6ème prime number is 13
5*7 = 35-> the 35ème prime number is 149
11*13 = 143 -> the 143ème prime number is 823

so adi-> 149; 823 -> hbc

I think that it was your idea :)
