What fruits/vegetables do you associate with each MBTI type?

ESTJs are potatoes. They are dependable, will probably save you from a famine, practical and traditional, earthy and not just well rooted, they ARE roots. They know they are the superior vegetable, so often called upon to support a meal, provide fuel and nutrients for little cost or effort and assist in the management of runny sauces or wayward peas. They have many skills, as demonstrated in the many ways they can be cooked and served, accompanying almost any meat dish with ease except perhaps some of those difficult Italians. They know they are superior to lumps of cooked dough but they are not going to stoop to trying to prove it. Forsake them for pasta sometimes but you know that stuff has no nutrients and thus no real substance.

My experience has been precisely the opposite. Peaches have potential, but are for more inconsistent in quality. I've more often had a bland, mealy peach than a bland, mealy nectarine.

A bland mealy peach is horrible, I agree but I find it easier to get a peach to ripen. Nectarines seem to be tricky and will be rotten at the centre or stay hard forever. It probably depends on where one lives and how local or not the fruit is.

Hmmm, INFP tomatoes...

They're not only soft, but they also have an interesting tangy sweetness as well. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on that tomato slice and place it in between the plain bread and butter we call a dull life, and see how much more badass we become. ;)

I've never been more attracted to ESTJs than I am right now after reading this, and I already loved them
That may be biased by my worship of potatoes

All the things you can do with potatoes ex: bake, mash, make hash browns, and fries, ect are an example of ESTJs tert Ne.

Have you had a fresh peach? Fresh peaches are much better than the pre-chopped ones.

Yes. They can be quite good, but my argument is that nectarines are more consistently good.

I was wondering if location had an impact? Where do you live? You don't have to tell me your street address, lol, but what region of the country? I lived most of my life in Pennsylvania, went to school in New York state, and recently moved to Illinois. So, East Coast/Upper Midwest.... places with cold winters. I think the majority of my peaches and nectarines have probably come from New Jersey.

I'm Canadian, west coast. Our fruit comes from California much of the year and thus is picked unripe. In summer we get it from our own province and that is when it is really worth eating. I gorge myself on apricots. peaches and cherries then. Even then I find nectarines inconsistent. They can be ripe on the outer parts but hard in the middle or rotten in the middle. I don't find this happens with peaches. Though I agree that when a nectarine is good it is very good, I would rather have a peach pie than a nectarine pie. :)

Hmm, while I've had rotten nectarines, I think they're more consistent. I think it really might be a regional thing. I'm not familiar at all with the produce of the Northwest, having never been out that way.

Well, you learn something new everyday I guess.

INTP: tomato (technically a fruit, and INTP's like technicalities).

Well, yet another thing I didn't know about.

I like it. Plus if you squeeze us too hard, we make a big mess.

A sharp knife, though, makes neat work: slices, wedges, ornate sawtooth carvings . . . whatever we can dream up.

Aww, but grapefruits are horribly bitter :tongue10: I'd rather be a tomato now.
