So this is an actual *thing*. It's just a bit unfortunate that I read about this thing long before I noticed it was a thing for me and have no recollection of where, what, when, why and how I came about this information...hopefully someone else has heard of it.

But apparently, someone-somewhere thinks compatibility is just a wing away... so for me as a 7w6...I would be well matched with 6w5 and 8w7. And I do find that I feel an affinity with...not so much the Ps...but the Js at 6w5 and 8w7.

So I was just wondering if anyone else feels a sense of compatibility/connection with their wing away points?

It would be 6w7 or integration of the 9w1

I could definitely see myself in a relationship with a 4, particularly a Fi-dom 4. I find Fi-doms in general super cute.

No ... But Nico would date me if I were a handsome gay man. He told me so. :}

That's what Nico says to all the girls that aren't handsome gay men. haha okay I'm kidding. It's because of your eye whipping.

I dated an enneagram 5w4 and I think we did have a good level of mutal understanding and a lot of similarities in our personalities. But I can't really imagne myself dating a 3w4, 3s in general are a little annoying and draining for me, not even mentioning how rare 3w4s are.

For this theory it would actually be 3w2. And I've always thought you were authentic.

So by this my choices would be a 6w7, and a 8w9? I do not have the patience necessary for a e6, and the push pull dynamic they have is incredibly trying. As for 8w9, I have absolutely no clue as to how that would go down; It was the best of times and the worst of times?

Well, considering 6w7s don't actually exist...it would only be 8w9 for you haha. Yah, Z Buck mentioned the constant *e6 testing* as potentially being draining as well. Actually, I think 8s test their partners too but their's is a means to an end. In other words, once they trust you they trust you.

Actually, with you I just think you should date a 7w6. And I have someone in mind. She's amazing.

6s really do seem to melt my heart

I think I am 9w1? so I guess for me that should be 1w2 and 8w9... I don't kno who I know like that, but I like 8s and 1s in general.

Some vague data for your theory

I like vague data. Have most of your relationships...been with 6s?

8w9's would be the other relationship I could see myself in, very easily. Does this fit with your theory or does the CP6 aspect not play a part? Curious.

It doesn't fit this theory as stated...but it's interesting because like I was telling you...you are highly evolved for a cp6. It's like you can tell you're highly integrated. So...if you were highly integrated to say 9w1...it might make sense you would feel an easy attraction (supposedly if this theory is sound in any small way) to 8w9.

I do want to be sandwiched by bad boys. ;) I prefer 8w9 though; 6w7 is hit or miss. NTJ sx 8w9 is good fap fuel, especially if they're female. But I'm not picky with people -- as long as they aren't boring.

Seeing the word fap made me feel nostalgic.

...maybe. If we go by tradition MBTI compatibility as well, a 6w7 ESxP would be an interesting match. 5w4 anything...perhaps.

I was actually wondering myself if this theory tied into MBTI compatibility captain curmudgeon and am thankful you reminded me of it. Like, if my MBTI compatibility person ha is the INXJ...then 6w5 and 8w7 makes sense really. I just couldn't remember everyone else's haha...but yah...ESXP 6w7 for you kinda works all around too.

Besides having a friend who was a girl who I was attracted to at one point, I've never formally dated. I've had a couple of close friends who were female, but I've never gone beyond just doing a few things with them before circumstances split our life paths. In my experience, though, I go for people similar to myself.

I started dating much later than the rest of my contemporaries as well MQ. It was all just too much for me really when I was younger. Pretty soon though you will be doing more than just a few things with one lucky girl and breaking hearts left and right.

Oh sorry, I didn't quite catch that, when it comes to 3w2 it seems a bit more imaginable to date such person.

Um Duffy...when I read this...the first thing that comes to my mind is "she's not in on the joke." I mean, that's the only explanation I can arrive at... Like, you're not getting that like 75% of what I say is tongue-in-cheek. I think maybe with you...you really do need to know the person better before you attempt typing them.

The only post I admit was hostile was the one in your wisdom of e7 thread. Everything else I've said to you was tongue-in-cheek as well, but kept getting misconstrued (I do a lot of sarcastic humor). I recall talking to you about this at the time, and you said you were ok with it (rather, you thought I was the one who was offended).... I've never had this issue with anyone except for you... This recent post you are responding to is type related criticism of how I see you in relation to the enneagram. I see you do this to other people all the time, calling it how you see it, and not always respectfully, so I figured you'd be able to take what you dish out. wtf?

**I also kinda think you might be projecting a little too. And I'll just be not tongue-in-cheek in this moment and say I don't know why you connected me to a post on the Seeker 469 if you think I'm 6-3/2-1 <-edit but you know I don't care to know the answer to this because I no longer trust your judgment and you're starting to piss me off because the more I go over our short history together in my mind the more I recognize this is your issue...like you have some sort of issue with me and I'm kinda sick of your little cutting comments. Go away.

I did not connect you to the Seeker thread because of 469. I connected you to that thread because your pattern and reactions are similar to the member that was participating in that thread. I was hoping you would be able to see a connection between you and that member. You have twisted my intentions again. I was able consider your typing of me and even your typing of others, despite major disagreements, yet you respond by reacting with "oh like, you're not getting it." You see the irony here? You accuse me of projection, in which I will respond with "fair enough maybe," yet what about your reactions and accusations? You seem to just write it off. I don't think it's enough to pawn all this off to a 6 wing. I think you're a core 6. You do that thing where you bounce around and poke defenses. When they poke back, you have the nerve to get upset and claim you're just joking I don't get it. This attitude and style is pretty much how the 6w7s in my life operate.

For someone who runs around typing people and running your mouth under the pretense of "helping," I'd figure you have thicker skin. I'm hoping this is just one big "tongue-and-cheek" excuse you've concocted. If not, then I guess I'm wrong about your gut fix as well.

Looking at a standard type combo like ESFJ 2w3 - that would be ISXP (depending if the theory you're talking about is "swap all letters except S/N" or "flip the introverted/extroverted orientation of the functional stacking") or INTP (duality) and 1w2 or 3w4...... I don't know how that type combo would go but I wish the ESFJ luck with that.

Here's the thing Duffy...right off the bat I knew you were counterphobic and so I was trying to be sensitive to it because I know counterphobics are often suspicious of other counterphobics...but you've taken it too far now and I'm done with you. I don't care what you want to fucking believe about me...just don't believe it around me got it?

This subject is off topic for this thread so goodbye.

I try to open dialogue with you and take the time to clarify and this is your response. This is what I meant when I said you have a tendency to talk about people and then wiggle your way out of situations when dialogue is required. You did this once before with me. Just endless excuses and justifications. Honestly have no idea why happy go lucky idiots are so popular.

Yea, I got it. Goodbye.

Yah...I'm the one trying to force my reality on others...not you. Did you get your last word in Duffy? Feel better now?

Instead of a sandwich...fapjacks?
