If I say it enough with enough emphasis I will convince people I am god. The funny part is the only one who woud enjoy that are people who want to be cocky as hell as if its a good trait. I can see some rappers like Drake, jumping all over it because of who he is. I can see others rappers who think he is a moron but are like WTF, ride with it.

I much prefer ludicris cockyness where his words and style actually have substance.

wouldn't call it a desperate ploy though, it's working really well for him. he's blowing up right now. probably not his album sales but he's getting endorsement deals from his social media celebrity.

his persona has been consistent though, he just found the perfect platform to showcase it. i wouldn't argue that he isn't corny/tacky but if you're corny from the beginning there isn't really any credibility to lose.
