Highlander i like the fact that you are starting these threads but it's best i would say if kiersey's condescending names given to each type aren't indicated. He is an idiot.

Anyway, regarding her type i think she is surely an enfp. Her Fi value judgements along with her tertiary Te is quite vident in her.

Extroversion is also evident. Not an Se type because it seems week in her. She doesn't have that Se frown or that Ni focused death stare :D.

I have a crush on this one.

Anyway i watched the second video. She seemed quite ESTJish. I am NOT saying she is an estj, just saying that when she talmed about her childhood she sounded quite serious like an TJ would. She seems to think certain girly/teenageish things stupid is what i gathered from it.

I have no idea what her enneagram is.

They aren't just Kiersey's names. It's a bit of a mix. They are showing up because I think the developer pulled the names from the Personality Type Information section. I don't have an easy way of changing it now but can put it on the list to get done because it looks kind of funny.

Surprisingly, no! I'd heard from Emma Watson fans that she was very similar to Hermione, though.

After watching the second video in the OP, she definitely sounds Te/Fi and Si/Ne, so I understand arguments for ENFP and for ESTJ. Her childhood self sounds a LOT like how I was at that age -- reciting everyone's lines for them, telling peers that what they're doing is stupid and pointless, etc. Her adult self sounds much more Si than Ne, for example her difficulty adapting to her role in The Bling Ring ("We can see her bra strap here, we need to do something about this!"). So I'm thinking ESTJ. Would guess tritype 13x. (136?)

I haven't looked into her type. But it's getting to the point with me that if someone hasn't read the person's bio or autobio, then your opinion on type doesn't matter.

Emma Watson – just as she had been taught from a very young age – wanted to ‘step up’, to absolutely do the best that she could during filming. Unfortunately, her drive to please ended up actually slowing down production. ‘I wanted everything to be so perfect,’ she later told Flare magazine. ‘I would work so hard to memorise my lines and the scene. We would have to stop shooting because I was mouthing Rupert’s and Dan’s lines at the same time. That’s something I had to get over.’

Perfectionist and people-pleaser, active for feminism. 1w2 is the obvious call.

1: If you ask me, I'd say she's an ENFP.
2: I want her to be my best friend. Like NOW.

I don't know, but as far as the Hermione character is concerned, I get a very strong ESTJ vibe--typical overachiever.

There is a 50/50 vote on enfp and estj.

In some of her interviews - esp in the ones after she became a women's rights activist - she seem to come across more as estj, though her earlier minor interviews and self expressions come across more enfp (this is who i am and this is what i feel about thigs are expressed in an extroverted fi sort of way) with a bit of e4 ness. -she is no way e4 but enfps due to their fi has an e4 touch to them-.

So could it be that she is an enfp who has strong te or an enfp who has developed te after she started her women's equality campaigns; or could it be the other way around and she is embracing her inferior functions to create an image which is basically enfp?

Either way she is indeed creating an image because the votes are shockingly evenly split and the two types estj and enfps doesn't seem similar at all in rl.

riva I agree. If she's a 3w4, then that even split makes even more sense.

Yeah why didn't i think of her enneagram type before? She could be a 3w4 although she gives or tries to give e1 vibes. Elfboy said it tbe best: 3w4s have wannabe e1 vibes and 3w2s have wannabe e7 vibes. So maybe she is a 3w4.

3w4s have an overrall 'i am perfect and i am made of plastic' aura to themselves and they carry themselves very consciously and carefully. A good example is kira from death note. At first he is the most obviously e1 out there but if you look closely he is only trying to create an image of a 1.

Another person with similar 'i am perfect as though i am made of plastic' vibes is claire underwood from house of cards. However, she is a 8w9 Southern Kross convinced me -she also convinced me to watch a few pro kiwi anti aussie tv serieses ;) -. Claire probably does have 3w4 in her tritype though.

Anyway going back maybe she is a 3w4.

I agree with this. I will hazard a guess about people I am only moderately familiar with but I will no longer argue to the death unless it's over someone who I know a lot about, then I actually can get downright annoyed. I mean you cannot type an artist from one painting, a musician from one music video, an actor from one film. You need to evaluate their overall work and learn personal details, especially about what they were like as a young adult. I got really pissy with someone last week who was trying to type a person off of one music video.

Thankfully I have access to a lot of research material regarding these celebrities.

Where did you get pissy at someone at? Another forum?
