i see sandler getting typed as more infp-ish in socionics sites. not sure why.. i don't really get an isfp vibe from him though. OTOH, his "real" self seems more like the Big Daddy or Longest Yard character, which is neither isfp or infp.

someone i get an isfp vibe from is johnny depp, but he's always held up as infp. i don't see what's INFP about him (i'm open to it tho).

Not the same system.

As for Johnny Depp, I'd say INFP; which is actually weird in the sense that nearly all of his characters are weird INTPs or ENTPs (the only possible exception being Jack Sparrow, who might be ESTP).

edward seems like one isfp he played. a very young/ puppy doggish one.. but there really wasn't much about the character but simple kindness, and those moments where he'd get into the groove cutting hedges and shit.

Jimi Hendrix is probably a Pe'er, he was an aimless wanderer, he got kicked out the military for being lazy and apathetic, constantly moving from place to place, trying to find and enjoy novel experiences, that was his "lifestyle", though that doesn't mean Je'ers can't have those qualties, but ISFP makes the most sense for Jimi Hendrix. Fi Se Ni.

I would say Eric Clapton was an introvert, or at least became one.. I've seen some interviews and he's really soft spoken and had that uncomfortable vibe that introverts have. Maybe he often seemed E in his early days because he was the "new, up and coming" star in London and was always partying and snorting the coke.

I do not think Hendrix is a J at all. I would say ISFP 9 or an INFP with a 7 or maybe 9 on the enneagram. That's just me though. I would lean more toward ISFP but could see both, just based off reading some of his lyrics.

He actually got kicked out, finally after several attempts, by pretending he was mentally unhealthy and feigning gay tendencies. Everyone knew how much he loved his guitar and after he just gave it away, it was icing on the cake for the military to see how crazy he was getting. That last part could just be a legendary myth, but really, he was secretly trying to get out so he could join a band with a friend of his who served his time awhile before Hendrix's time would be over. Laziness was part of it but wasn't the reason.
