Humametrics MBTI test (updated)

It appears humametrics updated their MBTI test. This test has been the mainstay for many years by many people. Largely because it's the first to appear in a google search. In the past they had 72 yes or no questions. Now they've moved to 64 questions on an effectively 1-5 scale. Most of the questions are exactly the same. Some have changed slightly or all together. Part of the purpose of this thread is to reflect this update (I just noticed it anyway), and to see if it's any more accurate than the previous version.

Personality test based on C. Jung and I. Briggs Myers type theory

Everyone I've known to take that test (10!!! people including me) got ENFP, and only one of them actually was one. I hope the update improves that.

Haha, lots of marginal preferences. Always. I guess the bend just reflects whatever disposition I'm in.

I'm less borderline than the last time I took it. I think it's more because I understand myself more, and I take the test with less bias.

I doubt I'm a Ni dom, but I know the test doesn't directly test for cognitive functions.

They may have changed the test to compete with the other "rising star" of online MBTI tests, the 16personalities one. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it. Nevertheless, this is the one everybody seems to take. I feel like I've inadvertently taken it several times over the past few years. My dad had everyone in our family take it back when I was ten, and I got ESFP. Forgot about it for years and took it again when I was fourteen or so and got INFP. A year later, my friends were telling me I was an extrovert, so I found it again somewhere and got ISFP (lol).

Anyways, the questions are easy to understand and fairly straightforward. Not a bad test.

Aaaaaand this still doesn't clear up whether I'm an INFJ or INTJ *sigh*, but it was still a great answer. It was about as accurate as it could have hoped to be with my T/F conundrum.

Don't rush it. I've been interested in type theory for a year and a half and I still don't know what my true type is. There's no rush. Besides, the system has limits. We are all complex human beings who will never snugly fit in a box--parts of us will always spill out. Hence people of the same type being wildly different.

I don't know how great this test is, but it might help you.

I think almost always polychotomous items > dichotomous items.

Definitely better than before imo. It got my biggest preferences right (extroversion and perceiving) but everything is more moderate than extreme, which makes sense for me.

I think these test results simultaneously highlight the strengths and failings of tests designed on the dichotomies.
