Psychology has many valuable points, but then why not just accept that human interaction is subjective rather than label persons as introverts and extraverts?

lumping people into general groups with general preferences does not mean that psychologists do not appreciate the subjectivity of human psychology.

They attempt to classify in order to better understand the subtleties and perspectives. They each have their own preferences, and so need to do this to understand others.

Extraversion and introversion have been connected to differences in brain physiology. Yes, it's still all on a continuum, but there are actual physical differences, which are worth understanding and documenting.

Newspapers used to make 'rivers of gold' from their classified advertisements.

Libraries used to have card catalogues to classify books.

We all used to be divided into social classes.

Indeed we all were compelled by State law to go to school and sit in class for 12 years.

We were all put into classes to fit the industrial economy based on print that created specialised work, called jobs.

But Steve Jobs put an end to jobs and replaced them with roles.

And indeed, look around you on Typology Central and you will see everyone has a role called an avatar.

So the the Age of Classification, the Age of Specialisation, is over, and we have entered the Electric Age of roles.

And of course mbti is a throwback to the industrial age of classification and specialisation -

So,
Hey, are you introverted? We have just the job for you.
Or, hey are you extroverted? Well, we have just the job for you.
