For me being at peace with myself equals being happy. It’s not easy to attain that peace and even more difficult to sustain it. I’m a restless soul internally even though externally I appear placid to people 99% of the time. Still waters I suppose.

As a generality, I'm content (defined as not resigned but calm and generally positive towards it) with my life. I have happy and unhappy moments over events. That said, I'd say that I'm generally a skeptic and don't think much of humanity.

That’s a fair ooint but not always applicable.

TBH, I chose this site less out of an interest for typology ( though it isn’t accurate to say that I have NO interest) but more because I was tired of forums about hobbies and things because they tended to draw in only like-minded people.
I am far more fascinated by a great variety of people and thought that a forum about ALL personality types would be far more interesting.

Perhaps if you joined in the latter years, agreed. But in the earlier years, it was a completely different site and environment.

It was mostly a joke, but I do think people who get into mbti have identity issues, and as a result they are not generally happy.

For me, it varies. But, I would say I'm happy overall versus sad. Content and at peace with how my life is is typically my default state recently. It's not exuberant joy, but more on the happy side of the spectrum.
