I have only included OPQ traits most held by and least held by the individual e-types.
The definitions of the 32 traits are found here: Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) | Niche Consulting Limited
Type ONE is nearly always:
Controlling
Outspoken
Data Rational
Evaluative
Conventional
Detail Conscious
Conscientious
Rule Following
Type ONE is seldom:
Affiliative
Innovative
Variety Seeking
Adaptable
Relaxed
Type TWO is nearly always:
Outgoing
Affiliative
Caring
Type TWO is seldom:
Evaluative
(Type Two does not correlate strongly with the OPQ at either extreme. Perhaps this is why Enneagram tests such as the RHETI are less capable of identifying the type Two than any other type.)
Type THREE is nearly always:
Controlling
Socially Confident
Variety Seeking
Adaptable
Competitive
Achieving
Type THREE is seldom:
Modest
Type FOUR is nearly always:
Independent minded
Conceptual
Innovative
Type FOUR is seldom:
Data Rational
Tough Minded
Type FIVE is nearly always:
Independent minded
Modest
Evaluative
Conceptual
Innovative
Emotionally Controlled
Type FIVE is seldom:
Persuasive
Outgoing
Affiliative
Socially Confident
Democratic
Caring
Type SIX is nearly always:
Democratic
Conventional
Rule Following
Worrying
Type SIX is seldom:

Tough Minded

Achieving
Decisive
Type EIGHT is seldom:
Modest
Democratic
Conventional
Adaptable
Rule Following
Worrying
(The OPQ correlates very successfully with the Enneagram, which probably explains why the e-type Eight is the easiest type to identify with such tests as the RHETI.)
Type NINE is nearly always:
Conventional
Rule Following

Tough Minded
Emotionally Controlled
Type NINE is seldom:
Persuasive
Controlling
Outspoken
Independent minded
