New Risk Factor for Heart Disease: A Type D Personality - AOL Health
Suggesting that Type D is at risk for heart problems, like Type A was known to be.
Type A looks to me like the same basic thing as DISC, Social Styles and even Interaction Styles. A= DISC"D"=Choleric, B=DISC"S"=Phlegmatic in some versions; DISC"I" or Sanguine in others; C=Supine (also DISC"C"), D=DISC"C"= Melancholic.
Melancholic, like Choleric, is a low responsive or high Neurotic (Discomfort) temperament, so would figure as also having high risk for heart problems due to stress.
Funny that temperaments are dismissed by mainstream, psychology, yet Type A theory is more recognized.
