I'm an ENFP who's had pretty severe OCD my whole life, and reading into things, it seems to align pretty perfectly with the definition of (unhealthy) inferior Si.
Some traits I've found both to share (I can probably think of even more):
- Obsessive, disturbing, & intrusive thoughts or images
- Mind is stuck on one thing that you just can't seem to shake
- Obsessive examination of ones past and past mistakes one's made
- Extensive research and examination of minor facts or flaws
- Feeling as though you're repeating the same thing indefinitely as if trapped in a cycle or a rut
- Odd rituals or beliefs that you are convinced will make things better
- Complete loss of positivity and/or optimism
- Fussy, nitpicky, and meticulous
- Hypochondriacal tendencies
- Feeling trapped by terrifying fears or phobias
- Sudden extreme focus on personal reflection, especially relating to the past, rather than on new ideas and change
- Obsessed with the thought that things need to be "just right" or just to your liking
- Fear that time is going by too fast
Any other Ne doms with clinical OCD?
