So I've been studying Scientology a good bit lately, shoot me.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reactive_mind
Essentially, Lafayette Ron Hubbard found that the Reactive Mind is the cause for many of Mankind's ailments, from stress to arthritis to the common cold. The line of thinking is not placed solely in Scientology's hands either, for every major religion's center figure of authority (Jesus, Buddha, Mohammad, etc) has been one who was seemingly able to be perceived as having eliminated entirely his reactive mind. I, myself, find it is a key component conducive to both personal happiness and external wealth in all its assorted variations.
I've postulated on this for some time prior to my discovery of Mr. Hubbard's terminology, but theoretically, what types are most likely to seek out these methods of philosophy with dutiful intent?
My answer:
Now, here in lies my real questioning: what functions are most responsible for maintaining the status quo the reactive mind provides? My best analysis has Fi and Ne as the two prime contributors, followed by Ti and Ni, followed by Te and Se, followed by Si and Fe.
This already feels pseudo-intellectual and potentially polarizing, so I'll leave it here for now and see where (if) y'all take it.
