Since I have no human takers, I am going to play myself (or rather my computer).

I kind-of lucked into a good came against rybka in the forum chess game, and it has me intrigued.

I'll take it at an extremely slow pace, and stick to the openings I like.

I think it is pretty silly to have Fritz 9 play itself and copy the moves down.

What I am going to do is study openings and end games on an as-needed basis against the computer and do it slowly.

I bought a copy of the very new MCO. It should be good to study from. The Namilov tables can be downloaded from somewhere. I haven't found a good place yet.

So..onward....
