Would you want to know the date of your death?

I dunno I still think there are so many things people put off doing because they are scared they will die , if you removed that possibility then it would be interesting to see the choices made.

I imagine having that knowledge and the effect it has on one's life going forward would vary wildly between individuals. For me, I would hate that feeling of knowing exactly how much borrowed time I've been allotted.

Everyone dies. Dying is an inevitability. I know that much, though I'm coming to terms with it.

Knowing the date of my death would help me better prioritize my time, and perhaps give a perspective that helps me treasure what I have even more. I could live my last hours more fully than I otherwise would if I didn't know what it was.

Though the question might also spring up. Is it avoidable? Now that I know, guess what, I might be able to change it. Will knowing this knowledge alter the future?

I wouldn't want to put that kind of pressure on myself. I'd probably live an even worse life as a result of the anxiety. The idea of living my life like I'm in a hurry to complete some checklist doesn't appeal to me, and it would likely take me out of the moment since this knowledge would always be in the back of my mind. And once I've done what I set out to do, do I just sit and wait around to die? I already know the average human lifespan, so you don't have to tell me now that I have cancer. I'd like to have some hope for things to change and to have a more open-ended life.

No fucking way. I have enough worries about my future already. If it comes so be it. Id rather focus on life instead.
