Wow, yesterday was a wonderful christmas.
Hubby and I exchanged gifts in the morning and gave our baby girl one gift which is a bear that lights up and sings the abc's and numbers and shapes and other songs.
Hubby got Zelda Twighlight Princess, Final Fantasy Revenant Wings and Final Fantasy A2.
I got Hello Kitty Daily, some soft slippers, yoshi's island and 2 games that I don't like and am going to return, lol. He did really good still- it was an awesome gift exchange.
We then dropped my baby girl at my mom's house, my mom isn't into christmas at all anymore- it is just another day to her.
Then my hubby, me and my best friend went to see Bedtime Stories and ate at a chinese buffet afterwards which I have always wanted to do!
We then went to our house which is just a skip away and exchanged gifts with her. She gave me hello kitty gloves, cake mania, and the nutcracker on cd. We gave her some glitter, a bracelet with her name in rhinestones, star trek captain's log and a dixie dregs cd. It was another awesome exchange.
After that we made hot chocolate and I then proceeded to play a blues song that I just wrote recently and she loved it! She is an honest critic too and I have showed her things I was really proud of before and she has not liked stuff of mine before -and man oh man it hurts -especially someone like me with an artistic temperment but then it also makes it feel even better when she does like something. So that was a huge approval. Same with hubby- it was huge to have his apporval of the song as he is a very honest critic.
We then lit some menorah candles (day 5 of Chanukah) and played dradle. She won. It was great fun.
My new favorite thing to say now is
Shin Happens!
We then ended our awesome best christmas ever and hubby and I went to pick baby up and visited a little with my mother and then we conked out!
I am hoping that I can exchange the games I do not want and somehow get Civilization for the PS3 as I have been playing a demo of it and love it! I have never played Civ before and man that is a fun game. I get to live out my megalomaniac fantasies!
