Indy is ENTP (Very reminiscent of Mal Reynolds). Not every badass motherfucker is an ISTP.
Holmes is such a blatant INTP it's not even funny.
So, basically you like ISTP badass mofos.
You're missing the point. Holmes' deduction style is to deduce logically based on evidence (Ti), and then look for connections, bringing about a massive big-picture finish. Definite Ne, there. His observational skills are secondary to his profound ability to make connections, and one cannot be both Se and Ne. On top of that he displays an extensive store of knowledge and obscuria, indicating a very strong tertiary Si. He remembers obscure bits of chemistry and the like that no sane man (let alone a non-chemist) would do.There were many threads trying to nail Holmes' type. Didn't exactly come to a conclusion. I could clearly see Se. Facts, Facts and Facts. And he has extremely good observational skills, Is that not Se?
And,
He is quite physical. He is a boxer and a good one too. I could very clearly see Se in Sherlock.
Connecting the dots is Ne, not Ni. Ni is forethought. Light Yagami, for example, is Ni on crack. His natural mode of operation is to think a dozen moves ahead of time.He does not solve puzzles in his head. He wants to se the facts. He does not come up with theories like L would in Deathnote. He wants to see the crime scene. He simply uses his tremendously developed observational skills (Se) to connects the dots (Ni) after seeing logical inconsistencies in the stories he hears from the witnesses and the suspects (Ti).
Again, finding hidden connections is Ne rather than Ni. You clearly have no idea what Ni is. Indy, further, seems very extroverted; he's highly sociable and readily active. And Indi -
Where on earth do you see Ne? And is he an extrovert? Really? He is clearly an ISTP. You must be basing his type on his ability and desire to solve mysteries/ puzzles. That ISTPs could do really well. Especially by a ISTP who has well developed Ni.
