Allow me to explain myself before I get books, flails, and decapitated hippy heads thrown in my direction. Pay attention now, here's where your 3rd grade math teacher gets thanked.

I got up this morning and went to Ikea just to look around, and it was a madhouse! And I figured out why, there was a lot of sale items up, and after shopping around I decided on what I'd buy. They had a four piece queen bed set that included the bed, wardrobe/armoireish thing, 3 drawer chest, and night stand with glass top for $338 (it was almost $700 everyday prices..go labor day sales). Slates sold seperate for $40. (Everything I had been shopping for before this would have ran me almost a grand for just the bed set.. you can see why I squeeled in joy.) The mattress was $250. I bought a bookcase for $30, and a trunk to go at the end of the bed for $150. We bought my dad's hardwood floor protector for $20, and a hanging system for the wall for about roughly $20. I got some silly organizer squares for $20. I bought a swiggly mirror for $10. We also bought a couple cutting boards, a chocolate bar, and crap like that which adds another $20 onto it and I am not counting tax with any of this.

Because I know everyone hates math, that's around $880 roughly for all that bullshit I just posted without tax. I paid $660.17 with tax and all ... I had no coupons, discounts, or anything. Just a really dumb cashier in the middle of a madhouse and I had too much going on to realize anything different otherwise. I just got everything loaded, got into my car and when I got home checked my receipt and saw the problem with it. I'm not driving all the way back to Ikea to give them 200 dollars of my money. Had I noticed it at the store, little Kyra on my shoulder would have told me to turn right around and pay, but it was so busy and I had been there so long I was just trying to get home and eat! I'm content and by this time tomorrow I will have a room! Sweet!
