There's a lot of red michigan people who want a recount and verification about voter fraud. that's likely what they're asking for, stop the votes and redo it.

I do admit it was kind of weird Michigan and Wisconsin BOTH stopped their votes and very early they went from trump leading to suddenyl being blue. I don't know. I honestly don't think I trust anyone this election. I kind of wish there was some third party way to take it out of their hands. Can we have some Germans or something count our votes instead? xD

I think you see that switch from Trump to Biden in states that counted the in-person votes first and the mail-in second. Those two categories are very divided based on how people feel about the pandemic. In-person favors Trump and mail-in favors Biden, and I think this is consistent across the map. However, each state has a different procedure for counting votes and I noticed early on that some state counted both concurrently and some in-person first. Right now I'm assuming Wisconsin and Michigan are likely the latter.

Or at least the in-person will consistently have a higher percentage for Trump than the mail-in for each state, but he could be in the majority or minority in relationship to Biden depending on the state.

It's really not looking that good for the MAGA folks, I don't think. They are behind or losing their lead in so many places they need to win. It seems rather difficult to fudge things up via some nonsense in all those places. In 2000 there was one state being debated. Here getting one of these states into the Trump camp will probably not be enough, given the rate at which the gap is closing in PA.

Yes, you can find info on all this stuff here for every state. It was written before the election but it seems to reflect what we're actually seeing.

Milwaukee seems to count the mail in vote separately, which is what's accounting for the state.

It really is determined by where the votes are being counted at what time, for the most part.

Honestly I don't think a recount will make a major difference. There was voter fraud talk in 2016 that ended up when investigated equalizing itself out basically - Hilary lost quite a few votes but so did Trump. I think it is impossible with the speed expected to be able to notice every single time a dead person is voting or someone voted twice or etc.

Yahoo news is reporting that Biden has 264 electoral votes. If this is true, all he needs is one more state out of the remaining five. *crosses fingers*

EDIT: I forgot about Alaska and its measly 3 votes. But still, Biden is very close to winning.

Yeah, I read that there were recounts in 2016 in states and it didn't change the outcome. The change in votes wasn't enough.

If Biden gets Nevada tomorrow then it's technically over. Actually if Biden gets anything else it's over since he only needs six point. If Trump gets everything left except Nevada, he has 268. I think it is designed to avoid a tie. One more for Biden and it's a win except for the recount delay.

It actually isn't designed to avoid a tie, but Nebraska splits electoral votes and Biden won one there.
