Imagine how much better things would be in the US if we had a sexy Canadian style prime minster, not some bag of skin filled with creamed corn failed reality TV host.

Even orange man's daughter is intrigued by this prospect.

this might make our userbase laugh.

For the first time, I read Donald Trump's twitter last night.

...astounding...I mean...such excellence...If you were a catty teenage clique girl.... :D

In seriousness, I laughed more than anything. Like...I guess it was just SO BAD...you had to kinda laugh...

It doesn't make me laugh. And for people that feel it's funny and harmless or Trump being Trump - hold that thought. We'll circle back to that in about a month.

Many of these people also say - well Joe Biden is senile and he's just as bad as Trump. And then I just smh because there is no real point to talking anymore.

I am not sure if you took this wrong possibly, but I in no way find the spew of lies upon his feed to be harmless. I just find it pathetic and laughable to see a 70+ yr old man acting as catty and ridiculous as most 15 yr old girls I meet.

at least those 15 year olds have life ahead of them to grow out of it. What the hell excuse does he have?

This doesn't look good for Trump. Today's Polls:

Texas: Tie
Iowa: Biden +1
Arizona: Biden +5
Missouri: Trump +2
Florida: Biden +5

While Biden doesn't fundamentally need any of those.

I know I did make those cracks about Biden, but for me Covid makes it pretty easy. It's obvious that one party isn't taking this seriously at all; it's not even some abstract thing far off in the future like climate change... it's just right now. Honestly, none of those fucks are fit to hold public office. The people from the places they represent honestly deserve better, even if the people in question don't share my views. You can judge people how they respond in a moment of crisis, and these people aren't just fumbling the ball, they think they don't have to worry about catching a ball because they think they're playing Candyland.

Also, one guy is condemning looting and the other guy told the Proud Boys to "stand by." I

So I'm unavailable at 9pm to watch the VP debate.

My assumption is that Harris will be more aggressive and press an attack without being obnoxious about it, as they've got a huge lead buffer. She doesn't need to make up for lost ground or anything, just avoid major pitfalls.

Pence, meanwhile, is like an inert element. I did see parts of him and Keane four years ago, and basically he just sits there in his passive monotone, stating how he has done everything right and simply denying that he has made any mistakes. he's placid, unaggressive, and unswayed by any amount of vitriol. Since calm denial is part of his powerset, trying to fluster him or get him to admit something is rather pointless. There's not much fear of him actually doing anything daring or exciting, it will be as boring and indifferent as possible. (he's like the anti-personality compared to Trump's personality.)

I think Harris is in more danger from the moderator rather than from Pence, but she pretty much just has to make a case and move on, and otherwise just avoid glaring errors.

Maybe the best thing to do is to point out that while Trump fiddled and burned down Rome so many times, Pence did... nothing.

Yeah. Here's hoping.

I'm about 15 minutes in, and I'm more convinced then ever Pence spends hours in his office staring into a seascape painting imagining a reality that's been successful and that must be what he's congratulating himself for up there. It doesn't sound familiar to what we've all been experiencing. It's making him feel quite accomplished though.

Yeah. I'm gaming, so not watching it... but yeah, what I am seeing posted here sounds like what I expected. Pence does live in his own reality, otherwise he couldn't justify his support for a man so antithetical to his actual values. I hope that is coming out to the audience, even if he can't see it.
