This particular blog is going to be mostly about my poetry. I may post an occasional personal story or thought, but if I feel the need to do more of this I'll start another blog. For a site of this size, there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in the quiet musing of poets. I'll keep it here; and more personal for those who enjoy such things. Here are a couple of poems to start it off:
Soft the Light
Soft the light lithely lingers
Your shapely form does glow
Fade the darkness sweetly knowing
Your eyes appear, the light below.
Shine the shade to quickly dimmer.
Your aura slowly starts to glimmer.
Gone, the darkly backwards seeping.
Your gaze my secrets are not keeping.
Bright the glamour fastly falling;
Beauty shouting, madness calling.
Now the air unleashed with doubting;
Heavens nearing, Angels shouting.
Dark the light lithely caresses,
You lovely being, your twilit tresses.
Soft the dusk resplends once more.
Your visage lost to Heavens door.

Today I am alone
Today I am alone.
In the vastness of my bones.
With the silence of my many years.
And the unseen lines of dried up tears.
My heart the only well lived home.
I gazed upon my birth.
On my solitary worth.
On the ones who wraught me into being.
Who gave me hope
and joy and meaning.
And the creators lips so set in mirth.
I heard the saddest joke today.
Those we love all fade away.
We live on an island
vast and remote.
Where none may linger
or even hope.
I stand alone at the end of each empty day.
I dreamt that I was split in two.
Rendered, to carry the burdens
of lifes tender truth.
My hands were shaking,
failing,
trembling.
My soul was breaking with remembering.
I fail as light to both subdues.
Today I am alone again.
No counterpart to call me friend.
Faithlessly, I dwell
in the deadness of my mind.
I stand completed at the end of all time.
My spirit to the ether ascends.
Now once more I stand apart.
No stain of hope upon my heart.
A reckonings song rings though out.
My soul undone, it's voice's shout
the final condemnation starts.
