Well, here I am, at the hospital by Dad's bed, laughing at Mum as she turns mountains out of the molehill of a medical problem he has. Now, oddly enough, she's gone and switched on the darn television . I think I preferred when she was hysterical, bordering on being a overly dramatic.
I have a paper to write AND submit by the next 12 hours. Research- check. Skeletal idea of the paper- check. Citations- check. But that television!!! Blaring the most pointless soaps in what should be a calm atmosphere.
The only comic relief in my mind is that I'm on a plastic chair. Every time that I touch metal, I get a tiny jolt! Maybe I'll give dad a jolt or two. :D
