The Colour of Magic

The TV Production of this first Discworld Terry Pratchett novel was on this week, I watched the first 2 hours of it this evening. Awesome.. especially as a piece of nostalgia for me for a fun book I first read as an impressionable 10 year old (ish).

Filmed in HD, excellent effects.. good acting (David Jason, Sean Astin, Tim Curry, Christopher Lee). So far, I'm impressed.. because it isn't easy to make a production of such a complex imaginative vision. Some of the more.... sardonic british humour had to go to make it more mainstream, but it still hangs together well.

I just ordered The Hogfather. It's supposed to get here on the first, but they could be joking.

Hopefully The Colour of Magic will be available on Amazon if it isn't already.

I have never seen this. I will have to get it. My husband cannot dog stories about dogs, makes him all softhearted.
