I'm getting a little fed up of being a widely-used free counseller. Don't get me wrong, I love being there for my friends and I feel honoured that they would trust me with stuff, but getting them to listen to my problems is impossible! If they say someone (when im not in free counseller mode) and it kinda relates to something I want to talk about that I'm having problems with, when I bring it up the convo is immediately steered towards their problems! And then I find I'm doing the whole steery thing towards myself when they are trying to tell me /their/ problems, which makes me a complete hypocrite... It's just all a bit tiring. Especially as they don't want to hear any advice or my opinion on the matter (some of my current opinions on their problems inculde you shouldn't have to go round fucking 20 yr olds when you're 16 just to feel wanted, and you should quit your job and spend more time having fun with me and other friends and you would be less stressed and you don't need the money anyway, etc, and there are few tactful ways of saying things like that, so I won't try)
/bitch.
EDIT: oh, and one of the friends who's constant moaning I listen to has gotten inot the habit of talking loudly in crowded places about my depression. Not cool. She also cracks jokes about it, but they are normally ones I cna laugh at so it's okish.
