A comment: "Would repost if I knew how from phone. The lastest today is if you buy a house you will be given citizenship. This is what is being contemplated. Spain just did this. And some in the USA think its good for economy"
To the photo and the comment, I respond:
Fucking sense of entitlement much? Oftentimes, people who are fortunate enough to be born into wealthy first world countries somehow feel an outrageous sense of entitlement, as though it is their birthright. They feel that they are better, more valuable, and more important than those who live in other, perhaps less economically developed, countries. THEY ARE HUMANS EXACTLY THE SAME AS YOU. YOU WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE BORN HERE INSTEAD OF THERE. YOU'RE NOT SPECIAL. YOU HAVE THE EXACT SAME BIOLOGICAL MAKE-UP. YOU WERE LUCKY. YOU'RE NOT ENTITLED TO SHIT. YOU WERE LUCKY. THAT IS ALL.
And with regard to immigration as opposed to "helping your own". I will let you in on a secret: immigration IS helping your own. The economic benefit that a lot of immigrants provide is a far cry from the economic benefit that a lot of your own citizens are providing. Many immigrants are smarter, more talented, and more hardworking than your citizens. Having those immigrants in your country is BETTER for your country. Those are the kinds of people you WANT as your citizens. You should be thanking them, because they're contributing more than a lot of your own citizens are. Besides, why the differentiation between citizens and immigrants? Why are you so concerned with helping your own countrymen versus people from other countries? The value of a human life is the exact same no matter where they're from.
And "troops go without proper equipment"? Are you retarded? Your troops are probably the most heavily armed, most technologically advanced, well funded troops in the world. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. It's like having a Ferrari and complaining that your car sucks because it doesn't have a little TV inside. Oh you get bored when waiting at red lights, poor you. Rev your 700 hp engine a few times, it'll make you feel better.
To recap in case you missed it: You're not special. You're equal to anyone else, no matter where they're from. The notion that you're somehow "special" or "entitled" to more than others who are from other parts of the world is arrogance that you've been brought up to believe, under its much more amiable sounding "patriotism". They needed a new word because "self-centered" and "hubris" just didn't sound right.
