It's subjective. Idealists usually piss me off when they stick to some irrational/unattainable ideal.

I think dogmatic was the harshest of all. It's synonym to being both close-minded and extremist.

Yeah, I was being somewhat sarcastic in asking about negative connotations associated with that word.. guess I need to work on making that more apparent in the future.

Yes. Intellectually they are very bright people, but their urgency to be in the moment can land them into unnecessary trouble. I.E. Hot stranger seduces ISTP. ISTP jumps in without any forethought. ISTP later finds out, they contracted an STD from the one night stand.
