Lockheed-Martin were here to sell us their Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) called Lightning II.
The Vice-President was in a well-cut suit and was immensely impressive and engaging as only Americans can be.
And it was all business, as for lunch we only had sandwiches and fruit juice.
We have already invested in the JSF program and are looking for this wonder plane to be delivered on time.
But as I sat there I googled Lockheed-Martin and found their revenue was more than twice as big as our whole Defence budget.
So I could see that the shoe was on the foot of Lockheed-Martin.
