It's been forever since I took any of the pottermore things so I'll do both.

Hufflepuff and Pukwudgie

Fun fact:

Hufflepuff is J.K. Rowlings favorite house, they are about working hard, being just, and loyal.

Although J.K. Rowling is in the Griffyndor house lol (kind of weird I mean she made them up)

She an INFP, sounding like she admires SJ's.

I can't correlate any other house to a kiersian temperament.

NF's and SP's - G house
SJ 's - H house
NT's and ST's - R house
Any type that wants a dark side - S house

I just used a throwaway email like mailinator or 10 minute mail.

It gave me Puckwudgie.

But the Pottermore sorting things doesn't seem to have much interest in the "correct" sorting. It placed me in Gryffindor, which does not suit my personality at all. (I'm not at all brave, nor do I value it above the values of a house like Ravenclaw). I'd probably in actuality be sorted into Hufflepuff, the lamest house. If anything maybe Ravenclaw, but not Gryffindor.

I don't know enough about these new houses to say which would fit me then.

Responding to myself here because I found a quiz that is 1000000x better than the Pottermore sorting quiz. Your favorite color or animal shouldn't really dictate what house you belong in. Your values and personality should.

It VERY correctly placed me as such: Hufflepuff > Ravenclaw > Gryffindor > Slytherin

Obviously, there hasn't been one made for Ilvermorny yet (and one might never be made), but I just thought I'd point it out.

Yeah, the problem is that the type of house that Slytherin is kind of "ruins" the four temperament aspect. But it is wrong to just blatantly call it evil. It is more akin to the enneagram 3 or 8, or maybe ET types.

I would also argue that Gryffindor is more SP focused than NF focused. And that NF values can be found in both Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, but that they aren't solidly a house.

Edit: Also, I would say that Ravenclaw is far more NT than ST, though it obviously doesn't exclude STs. It's just if you were going to assign one of these two to Ravenclaw, it would be NT.

Considering the mod's (Charity) experiences in typing herself (going from ENTP to ISFJ) I tend to agree. Also the fact that she's not the only one who types characters for that blog, as evidenced by the rather inconsistent formulas and credits to other people including many anonymous.

But anyway back to Hogwarts and stereotyping:
