I identify with the title character. Some people say that the character is the House before House, although Becker was a sitcom. However, it was basically about a misanthropic doctor.
I don't collect DVDs as much as I used to. I'm actually boycotting my DVD player and movies, in general, until I can get a Blu-Ray player. But since Becker is a Paramount release, it won't be coming out on Blu-Ray just yet, so I'm able to get it.
