I've never been so humiliated in my life before.

Guy calls me up in the morning telling me he saw my resume and wants an interview on Wednesday.

I ask him what the job is and where its located, to screen for a possible scam or whatever.

He tells me its 40 minutes from where I live. He also tells me I'd be a financial advisor, and that he often works alongside brokers.

I say, "hey that sounds great!" I ask him the who what when where how and he gives me the interview time and location and says "business attire."

So what do I do? I go buy a 1200 dollar suit. And let me tell you, I look fucking awesome! Why did I buy a 1200 dollar suit? Because I'm a fucking moron who's about to become a big shot broker. Also, I have no idea how much a suit actually costs. So I just accept the 800 dollar price tag and say "ok great LEZ DO THIS!"

So here I am with 1200 dollars spent on a suit and random accessories.

The job is just a commission based sales job.

I'm pissed... and 1200 dollars poorer.

I consider myself a pretty intelligent guy. How I managed to fall for this shit and drop all healthy skepticism is beyond me. And how come I didn't question the god damn price tag? Why was I so stupid?
