I love how this test is basically "do you have bad fixed mindset or good growth mindset"?
Another test by completely delusional person.
Or persons.

I still can't make heads or tails of this IDRLabs company or what they are up to. Privately held company based out of Switzerland. Backed by a small venture capital firm, so one can assume they eventually hope to make some profit.

I see it costs $12 a year to become a member. Can't imagine they have many subs but who knows. Nice that they don't clutter their site with ads at this point.

Most of their tests seem pretty hokey and poorly thought out. Some are kind of fun though and they seem generally harmless.

It's a general problem with psychometrics. Thing is that basing on their 6 mindsets tests, 60% is enough to have mindset highly conductive to success. For some reason they never considered that at some higher percentage harmful effects from being unrealistic can begin to appear.
We've posted a lot of IDR labs tests on the forum. I too believe their tests should be used very skeptically.

But beyond the testing, do you believe a strong growth mindset is toxic?
If so, can you elaborate on the mechanisms that you believe makes a strong growth mindset toxic?

I believe toxic positivity is very... toxic.

But I see that as different, and in fact an antithetical to a growth mindset.

Remember IQ and intelligence are different things. One can say IQ is just another psychometric with the same issues you mention.
